Show Desktop Button In Windows 7

So  You have installed  windows 7 and  quite worried about the “Show Desktop Button” which was easily visible in previous versions of  windows   but  now it no longer exists  with other icons located near to start button.

In windows 7 the  the “Show Desktop Button ” has  a new location. Now it is  located in the right most corner of  task bar just near the  clock  as shown in the  image below

Windows VISTA Consuming a lot of Disk space – Solution

One of the major issues that  VISTA users are worried about is that  it  consumes a lot of disk space  with time. The reason fot this  is that VISTA  continuously creates  restore points  which accoupy a lot of  disk space. These restore points helps you to easily restore your system to an earlier stage in case of any  problem with your windows. However if  you want  to  free the disk space occupied by these  restore points then  one   easy and safe method  is to   periodically delete  these  restore  points. You can do it  by  disabling the system restore facilty and then again enabling it.  To  Do this  follow the steps  below

Right Click on My Computer
Then Click on Properties
Then Click on   “Advance System Settings” In the  leeft menu
Go to the system Protection tab in opened window
The system restore status of  C drive will be   “Monitoring”   Uncheck it  and then click on apply button
A dialouge box with cinfirmation to disable system restore will be openend. click on “Disable System Restore” button.
After that you have to again enable the system restore( Highly Recommended).
just   click on that checkbox and   click on apply button.
Now after doing this   you will get about  2 or 3 GB  free Space.
